White Claw Signs On As The Official Hard Seltzer Of Warrior Dash

Chicago, Ill. – Feb. 1, 2018 – Warrior Dash, the 5K obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, and White Claw® have entered into an agreement making White Claw the Official Hard Seltzer of Warrior Dash.

White Claw Signs On As The Official Hard Seltzer Of Warrior Dash

Chicago, Ill. – Jan. 30, 2018 – Warrior Dash, the 5K obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, has signed a multi-year agreement with fairlife, LLC, the Chicago based health food company that produces high quality milk-based products. This partnership allows fairlife to bring some new and unique experiences to the obstacle courses this year, including participation in the festival area with sampling and other fun activities for participants and spectators.

 

“We’ve noticed that even the youngest kids that come out to our events to watch their parents and older siblings participate want to join in on the muddy fun,” said Scott Howard, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Red Frog Events. “We thought, why not get them out there, too, to share the experience with the rest of the family through a fun, active area dedicated to them.”

 

New in 2018, each obstacle course location will feature the Warrior Dash Kids Training Grounds, presented by fairlife, and will feature mini obstacles and mud. Kids will receive a Warrior helmet to wear and take home. Ages 3-9 can partake in the action (adult supervision required at all times) and all-day access is $10 per child. Children 10 and up are eligible to register and run the main 5K Warrior Dash course.

White Claw Signs On As The Official Hard Seltzer Of Warrior Dash

Participants nationwide to take on Earth, Air, Fire, and Water during Warrior Dash’s tenth season

CHICAGO, IL (Dec. 7, 2017) – Warrior Dash, the 5K obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, will feature 27 stops across the United States beginning in Florida this February. Making its 2018 debut is the Warrior Dash “Elements Tour,” where participants will battle Earth, Air, Fire, and Water across 12 new and classic obstacles.

“As we head into our tenth season, we’re excited to introduce our return Warriors, and new ones, to the Elements Tour,” says Ryan Kunkel, Co-CEO at Red Frog Events, producer of Warrior Dash. “Participants can expect fun, new challenges as they conquer the Elements on the course and head to the festival for the best post-race party in the industry.”

Obstacles

New obstacles and variations on signature obstacles will make up the 12 featured in the Elements Tour. Returning obstacles include participant favorites Upslide Down XL, Pallet Jacked, Mud Mounds, Summit Plummet, Down to Earth (previously Trenches), Alcatraz, Warrior Summit, Warrior Roast, and Muddy Mayhem. New to the Warrior Dash obstacle lineup:

● Super Soaker: Almost like a nice, hot shower. Half balance beam, half ramp climb, and soaking wet from all sides.

● No Man’s Land: Atteeeention! We brought a bit of basic training to the course. Over then under then over again, get going Cadet.

● Rock Slide: Side step or splash. Shimmy your way across swaying trusses, but watch out for other Warriors swinging your way, too. Keep your balance or you’re in for a bath.

● Natural Disaster: Conquer the Elements. Crawl, climb, and slide through a combination of Earth, Air, Water and Fire.

Kids Training Grounds

Little Warriors are welcome to participate in the Kids Training Grounds area at each Warrior Dash location. The Kids Training Grounds features mini obstacles and mud, plus a Warrior helmet for kids to wear and take home. Ages 3-9 can partake in the action (adult supervision required at all times) and all-day access is $10 per child. Children 10 and up are eligible to register and run the Warrior Dash course.

Participant Swag and Medals

After a short hiatus, Warrior Dash’s iconic bottle-opener medal is making its return in 2018, featuring the Elements Tour design. Participants will also receive a new, limited edition Elements Tour t-shirt, along with the Warrior Dash signature fuzzy helmet.

Festival

At no cost to spectators or racers, Warrior Dash is proud to host the best post-race festival in the industry. Returning in 2018 will be a live DJ, food and beverages, dancing, games and contests, ample shade and seating to refuel, and plenty of profile picture-worthy photo opportunities. Contests include Stein Standoff, Best Costume, Best Beard, and more. Dogfish Head will be adding a new flavor to the festival bar with their 60 Minute IPA, Namaste White, and the recently named “Beer Product of the Year,” SeaQuench Ale. This session sour is a flavorful, low cal beer brewed to be the most thirst-quenching beverage ever made by Dogfish Head and specifically designed for those that enjoy a delicious indie craft beer while maintaining an on-the-go athletic routine. Several new brand partners will also be joining Warrior Nation in 2018 and enhancing the participant experience.

Registration

New in 2018, participants will have the option of signing up for a Premium Registration. Benefits of the Premium Registration include choosing any wave time on the day of the race, VIP bag drop, as well as having their bib, an extra beer ticket, and an unlimited re-run wristband mailed to them ahead of the race. Premium Registrations are limited to 100 Warriors per location. The Competitive, Preferred, and Standard wave options remain as registration choices.

Warrior Dash is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By signing up as a St. Jude Hero, participants can fundraise and receive a variety of perks based on the total raised, including: access to the St. Jude VIP tent with private showers, complimentary gear check, food, non-alcoholic beverages, race registration refund, speakers, and a trail backpack. CHICAGO, IL (DEC. 4, 2017) –  Red Frog Events has launched the air show industry’s first nationwide series: Grunt Style Air Show Majors. The inaugural tour showcases a collection of America’s most prestigious air shows including: SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In & Expo in Lakeland, Florida, the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach, Cleveland National Air Show, and the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Wings Over Houston Airshow. 

The mission of Grunt Style Air Show Majors is to celebrate aviation, honor the military, and increase mainstream awareness of the air show industry. By becoming an official tour stop, the four selected air shows will receive national promotion through a variety of marketing efforts, visibility for their air show at the other participating air shows, and additional mainstream recognition and benefits through partnering with tour creators, Red Frog Events, and title partner, Grunt Style.

Warrior Dash to Celebrate First Ever ‘National Obstacle Course Racing Day’

The nation’s leading obstacle course racing series encourages everyone to commit to OCR on July 18

CHICAGO, IL (July 11, 2017) – Warrior Dash, the 5K obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, is commemorating the anniversary of its inception with the inaugural National Obstacle Course Racing Day on July 18. The annual holiday will serve as a day to celebrate the obstacle course racing industry and its continuing growth in popularity.

The day, #NationalOCRDay, holds special significance in U.S. obstacle course racing history, as the first ever Warrior Dash race took place on July 18, 2009 in Joliet, Ill. The following year, Warrior Dash launched the first obstacle course racing series nationwide and paved the way for the industry.

“National Obstacle Course Racing Day is a day of celebration for everyone. Whether you’re a dedicated OCR athlete or newcomer to the series, we want everyone to celebrate their obstacle course racing experience,” said Ryan Kunkel, co-CEO of Red Frog Events, the producers of Warrior Dash. “We’re looking forward to celebrating National OCR Day for years to come and introducing a new wave of participants each year to obstacle course racing.”

The obstacle course racing industry has seen mounting success since Warrior Dash launched the first national series in 2010. Obstacle course racing has now become an internationally recognized sport, with annual OCR participation surpassing that of traditional half and full marathons combined, according to Running USA’s 2015 data.

“Warrior Dash helped lay the foundation for what has become a robust obstacle course racing industry,” said Brett Stewart, co-Founder of Mud Run Guide and US OCR Championships. “Warrior Dash continues to be a leader within the OCR industry, and has established itself as a great entry-level event for novice participants as well as a fun event for the most seasoned competitors.”

Participants can sign-up and fundraise as a St. Jude Warrior. All donations go towards the St. Jude Red Frog Events Proton Therapy Center, which opened on the St. Jude campus in Memphis in late 2015.
